Esther is a Senior Lecturer at the Federal University of Lafia, Nigeria, where she teaches sociology and social work to undergraduates and postgraduate students. She holds a PhD in Health/Medical Sociology from University of Maiduguri. Esther's research interest is on utilization and accessibility to health and medical services and facilities focusing on the inequality predictors. Esther has high levels of expertise in social research and vast experience in teaching and training and the design of research instruments, conducting both quantitative and qualitative researches on utilization of maternal and child health care services, sexuality education, cultural and religious barriers to accessing health care etc. across Nigeria. Esther has proficiency in English, Tiv and Hausa languages.
