Ayesha has worked as Research Officer with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). She holds an MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford, and an MS in Economics from the National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. Ayesha conducted a national policy review in Pakistan for MIGNEX based on key informant interviews and an extensive literature review. Her research interests include migration and development, diaspora engagement, and labour migration. She has over 6 years of experience in designing and implementing policy-relevant research projects, conducting quantitative and qualitative fieldwork, and carrying out policy reviews.
